A ceramic coating is only as good as the surface underneath it. At Vice Detailing, every coating starts with a thorough wash, paint decontamination, and machine polishing to prepare the paint before the coating is applied.
Once installed, ceramic coating adds durable protection, deeper gloss, and strong hydrophobic properties that make your vehicle easier to wash and maintain. It also helps protect the finish from road grime, pollen, bug buildup, winter salt, and other contaminants common throughout Northern Virginia.
We offer multiple ceramic coating options based on how long you want to protect your vehicle. Every coating is carefully applied, leveled, inspected for high spots, and allowed to cure properly before delivery.

Certified Installer
Vice Detailing has completed Apex Auto Training and is certified with Apex Ceramic Coatings. We currently use coating systems from Detail Co., Labocosmetica, and Armour Detail Supply because we choose products based on reputation, warranty support, durability, and real-world performance.

Custom Paint Correction, Better Results
We do not use the same polish and pad combination on every vehicle. Before correction begins, we test multiple combinations to find what works best for your paint system, defect level, and finish goals. That allows us to restore gloss and clarity without using a one-size-fits-all process.

Every coating is installed with proper prep, careful leveling, high-spot inspection, and cure time because the details before and after application are what determine how the coating looks, bonds, and performs.
Protection for Real Roads

A properly installed ceramic coating helps create a durable barrier between your paint and the contamination it faces every day. It will not make your vehicle maintenance-free, but it will make it easier to clean, easier to maintain, and better protected than wax or basic sealants.
Installed With the Right Process
We do not rush coating work.
The process starts with tires, wheels, and wheel wells, followed by a pre-wash foam and rinse to remove loose dirt before contact washing. The vehicle is then washed with pH-neutral foam, decontaminated with clay bar and clay lubricant, dried, and inspected.
Before polishing, we test multiple pad and polish combinations to find what works best for the vehicle’s paint. Depending on the package, we complete a one-step or two-step polish before panel prepping the surface.
The coating is then applied, leveled, inspected for high spots, and left to cure for 24 hours. After curing, we inspect the paint again before delivery.
